The National Center on Sexual Exploitation hosted their annual Coalition to End Sexual Exploitation Global Summit June 11th to the 15th. This event featured over 80 nationally and internationally recognized advocates and speakers and more than 500 attendees dedicated to ending all forms of sexual exploitation including prostitution, pornography, child abuse, and human trafficking. Attendees traveled to Capitol hill and visited every Congressional offices to discuss policies to help address sexual exploitation. Summit breakout sessions focused on topics such as protecting children online, the impact of pornography abuse on families and children, voices of trafficking survivors, public policy, and updates from advocates who are working across the globe to end exploitation.
