Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration

The MOBL GLBL MRKT will be sharing gifts + justice with the community at Loveland’s Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration this Saturday at the Foote Lagoon in Downtown Loveland. Come out as we celebrate together and support artisans and vulnerable communities from across Africa.

4th annual may benefit reception & art auction

Join G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice on May 22nd for our annual May Benefit! This year the event featured an Art Auction, with all proceeds going towards supporting justice!

Micah Place Ribbon Cutting and Open House

On April 22 we celebrated the official opening of Micah Place -- the home of G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice at the historic Hahn House in Loveland. We held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with the Loveland Chamber of Commerce at Noon and a Community Open House until 3pm. We featured a special guest from Casa Flor Ixcaco, and an Earth Day presentation as well.

CSU ACT FILM FESTIVAL

Thanks to the CSU ACTS Human Rights Film Festival for inviting G.L.O.B.A.L. to serve as a partner organization & share the MOBL GLBL MRKT at this community event at the Lyric theater.

wOMEN eMPOWERING wOMEN

G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice hosted its 5th annual Women Empowering Women: Justice & Leadership Forum on March 5, 2022.The Forum included a COVID-19 research presentation, an Emerging Leaders luncheon musical performances, and a professional panel.

Christmas in Asia was a special celebration of the season. We are especially grateful to our advocacy panelists: Don & Bridget Brewster of Agape International Missions, Pattie Moon of Sherpa Education Project, and Sarah Symons of Her Future Coalition for sharing about their experiences in Asia and work to address injustices. Fall 2020

We are so grateful to our chalk artists Deb Dohrman and Kassi Moon for their beautiful regional artwork at the GLBL MRKT throughout the year. We are looking forward to 'unveiling' this weekend our newest chalk art for Fall 2020 focusing on Latin America.

1st Anniversary Celebration

The GLBL MRKT celebrated its 1st Anniversary during G.L O.B.A.L.'s 6th Anniversary Film Festival on September 19th. We were glad to share many artisan wares from many great advocacy organizations, especially Agape International Missions, at this special event. Looking forward to continuing to share gifts + justice at future advocacy & education opportunities.

Christmas in Africa – December 1, 2019

Thanks to Beth Heckel of Think Humanity, Anne Dean of Harmony Life International, and Diana Schmick & Sharon Brownley of Africa Bags for serving as panelists for our Christmas in Africa event at the GLBL MRKT on Sunday. They shared their experiences working in various African countries with their respective organizations, answered various questions about what has inspired them to do their work, and graciously spoke with people at the event after the panel discussion. Thanks also to Grace Place Church and the community for their support of the GLBL MRKT and these great advocacy organizations.

Hosted by G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice and Top of the Lake Coffee - November 2019

G.L.O.B.A.L. was pleased to partner with Top of the Lakes to present Woven Together: Women of Guatemala This wonderful event, hosted at Grace Place Church in Berthoud, CO, featured Miriam Navichoc and Delfina Par of Casa Flor Ixcaco — an organization that provides economic empowerment to communities through weaving programs in Guatemala.
