Featuring Glenda Haines, Eves & Haines Wealth Management
Glenda Haines is a professional who understands the importance of making a positive impact on the community. With 35 years of experience in a range of leadership and business roles and a variety of community activities, Glenda has served clients and her community of Greeley and northern Colorado in significant ways.
Glenda’s impact started with her education and early career in engineering. She earned a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado. Her electrical engineering career involved working on large-scale electrical design, including for the Denver Convention Center. She later worked for Xcel Energy, the trade name for Public Service Co. of Colorado. She led major negotiations with customers and partners such as Coors Brewing Co. and Total Petroleum. She developed and implemented Xcel’s first unregulated business to sell electricity competitively. Glenda then created and implemented a subsidiary company, Cadence LLC, to serve major national account customers in a newly deregulated market.
One of Glenda’s biggest strengths and passions is her ability to translate and integrate technical information into solutions for real people. When she left her corporate position to pursue a coaching business, she began studying the stock market and investing strategies. She learned how to invest and grow her own retirement and financial resources.
With her personal and professional insights and knowledge, Glena transitioned to financial planning and became Co-Founder of Eves & Haines Wealth Management in 2017. Eves & Haines is a boutique firm that specializes in client education and customized services for financial and retirement planning and stock market investing.
In addition to her successful professional career, Glenda has been active in supporting nonprofit organizations in the community, including the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Centennial Rotary, Greeley Area Chamber of Commerce, P.E.O., Greeley BusiBanking & Finance Women, and other organizations.
Since moving to northern Colorado, a little more than years ago, Glenda has made a significant impact on all those she has served. In 2017, she was recognized as a 2017 Women of Vision by the Colorado Women of Influence Foundation. In 2020, Glenda was selected by Biz West as a Women of Distinction honoree in the category of Banking and Finance. Glenda’s achievements and impact continue in Northern Colorado communities.
