Elizabeth Moran is a passionate advocate for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), serving as the Executive Director of The Arc of Colorado. With a mission to promote inclusion, equity, and Dignity, Moran has dedicated her career to ensuring that individuals with IDD and their families have the resources and opportunities they deserve, recognizing their hard work and dedication. 

Moran’s heart of advocacy began early when she was inspired by her personal connections and ongoing sense of justice. She pursued a higher education in social work, nonprofit leadership, or public policy. Her professional experience includes roles in advocacy, program development, and public outreach, all of which shaped her leadership to guide The Arc of Colorado. 

As the Executive Director, Moran leads The Arc of Colorado in its mission to support and empower individuals with IDD and their families through advocacy, education, and direct services. She oversees statewide initiatives to promote accessibility, fight discrimination, and expand resources for individuals with IDD in healthcare, education, employment, and housing. Moran’s vision is to create a society where all individuals with IDD are valued, respected, and fully included in their communities.

Under Moran’s leadership, The Arc of Colorado has championed legislative and policy changes that enhance the rights and protections of individuals with IDD.
