Good Day Sunshine Goods

Good Day Sunshine Goods are beautiful weavings and wall hangings created by Lauren Moustakas, a longtime G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice staff member. These hangings support the work of G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice’s Women Empowering Women Project and are available in the GLBL MRKT.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING 101

G.L.O.B.A.L. Founder/President Sosamma Samuel-Burnett conducts trainings and seminars to fight human trafficking, especially against vulnerable women. She has presented these trainings at events hosted by the Colorado Women of Influence and for anti-trafficking groups.

STATUS OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE

G.L.O.B.A.L. Founder/President Sosamma Samuel-Burnett conducts presentations on the political, economic, and social status of women worldwide. These presentations accompany the related research study noted below and provide opportunities for continued advocacy on women's concerns.  She has presented on these topics for groups such as the Colorado Women of Influence, Soroptomists of Fort Collins, Zonta Club of Fort Collins, and Northern Colorado Women in Business.

women’s history month & international women’s Day

Each March, G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice recognizes and uplifts International Women’s Month. During this month, G.L.O.B.A.L. uplifts advocacy resources for women and women leaders across the globe. This March, we shared information about women’s historical moments, historical women, and celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8th.

THE UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES OF COVID-19 ON WOMEN and children

G.L.O.B.A.L. has launched a one year comparative study that looks at the Unintended Consequences of COVID-19 policies and practices on children and women in vulnerable populations.  This study considers the topics of education, employment, and health in the United States, Mexico, Uganda, Cambodia, and India.  We look forward to sharing updates on this project in Fall 2020 and Winter/Spring 2021 as well as a full presentation of our final research paper in Summer 2021. 

STATUS OF WOMEN WORLDWIDE  

G.L.O.B.A.L. Founder/President Sosamma Samuel-Burnett presents a study of status of women around the world.  This study reviews the political, economic, and social standing of women in various regions -- demonstrating progress but much needed continued advocacy.
