Sarah Monares is many things – wife, mother, counselor, coach, speaker, writer, blogger, and podcast host. As a licensed counselor, Sarah has owned her own private practice since 2009. She is also the founder and CEO of Monares Collective LLC and The We Spot. She also is author of the new book Looking Inside and Finding out. But in all of her roles, the focus of Sarah’s work has been on the healing power of vulnerability.

Sarah passionately conveys that by learning to speak our truth and to fully embrace who we are, we become free. She loves helping women shine light in the places they hide and learn to walk in the full power of all they were created to be.  Sarah has a devastating story that she vulnerably shares in order to help others learn to own their whole story. Even the hard and messy parts.

Many people believe we are a product of our environment; that the things we go through shape and mold who we become. But Sarah’s compelling memoir shows us that while our past certainly impacts who we are, each of us have what it takes within ourselves to positively and powerfully mold our present and our future.

Sarah’s book takes us on a journey of heartache, loss and personal challenges of her own life. She uses the lessons of her difficult past to help us gain an understanding of ourselves while encouraging us to leverage the hard stuff to make ourselves better. This compassionate and raw account provides great insight into the power of personal healing. It serves as a guide for navigating through the hard and coming out on the other side better than before.

Sarah teaches us how to own our story, let go of shame, and shine the light in all the places we try so hard to hide. She believes that by exploring these places we can learn to lean in and let go and live in the full power of all we were created to be.  Living in freedom and growing toward our very best life.

G.L.O.B.A.L. Justice is especially pleased to share Sarah’s powerful, healing message as a featured presenter at our Mind + Body + Spirit: Advocacy & Wellness Fair. She and others from the advocacy community will share resources and opportunities for ongoing healing for survivors of various abuses.
